"Shaheed Ahnaf Memorial Football Tournament 2024" Concludes with Final Match and Award Ceremony at BAF Shaheen College Dhaka"

BAF Shaheen College Dhaka held the grand finale and award ceremony of the "Shaheed Ahnaf Memorial Football Tournament 2024," a competition organized by the college authorities to honor the memory of the late Shaheed Ahnaf on 29 October 2024. The event received full support from the BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Sports Association. The tournament, which kicked off on October 8, featured 124 sections from Grade 4 to Grade 12 being divided into 4 groups.

The competition was divided as follows:

Group A: Grades 4 and 5

Group B: Grades 6 and 7

Group C: Grades 8 and 9

Group D: Grades 11 and 12

In Group A, the champions were the Grade 5 English Version Day Shift team. In Group B, the English Version Morning Shift's Grade 7 team emerged victorious, while in Group C, the Bangla Version Day Shift's Grade 9 team took the crown.

The final showdown in Group D was a highly anticipated match between the Grade 11 'Electron' section and the Grade 12 'Horizon' section. In a thrilling battle, the 'Horizon' section clinched the title with a narrow 1-0 victory, earning the honor of becoming the 'Group D' champions.

The event’s chief guest, Group Captain Mohammad Kaisul Hassan, PSC, the Principal of BAF Shaheen College Dhaka, was present at the final match to congratulate the participants. He expressed his appreciation for the organizing body and announced the conclusion of the tournament. Also in attendance were Shaheed Ahnaf’s proud mother, vice principals, the college adjutant, assistant headmasters and numerous students, all of whom celebrated the remarkable performances.

This year’s tournament not only commemorated the legacy of Shaheed Ahnaf but also inspired a spirit of sportsmanship and unity among the students, leaving a memorable mark on BAF Shaheen College Dhaka.
