BAF Shaheen College Dhaka is a reputed and profound educational institution run by Bangladesh Air Force. Since 1960, Shaheen has soared to new heights like an eagle with its guiding principles of education, restraint, and discipline, embodying the spirit of an eagle in its pursuit of excellence. Bangladesh is moving forward with irresistible progress. BAF Shaheen College Dhaka is dedicated to enhancing students' knowledge and creativity through meticulous care and practice, guided by the Universal Education Policy. In addition to traditional teaching, the organization is also committed to encouraging the students to participate in life-oriented education, co-curricular activities and various club activities.

BAF Shaheen College Dhaka is seeing its success grow steadily, as reflected in the results of various public exams. We now offer both morning and day shifts to accommodate our students. To ensure top-notch discipline and administration, we have a Vice-Principal (Administration) and a College Adjutant who oversee the conduct of the students. Our campus features well-equipped guardian waiting rooms, first aid center, multimedia classrooms, labs, canteens, and modern facilities including a heritage Sundial and Shaheed Minar. A stunning 12-storey college building is currently under construction, adding to the charm of our institution. We are also focusing on beautifying and upgrading our campus. To keep parents and college authorities connected, we have a dedicated help desk. For students, we offer two canteens, including the Eagle's Delight canteen, both supervised by Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, ensuring clean and affordable food. বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী কর্তৃক পরিচালিত স্বনামধন্য শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা। ১৯৬০ সাল থেকে ‘শিক্ষা-সংযম-শৃঙ্খলা’ এ মূল নীতিকে ধারণ করে ঈগলের ন্যায় ক্ষিপ্ত গতিতে ছুটে চলছে শাহীন। অপ্রতিরোধ্য অগ্রযাত্রায় এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে বাংলাদেশ। নিবিড় পরিচর্যা ও অনুশীলনের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীদের জ্ঞান ও সৃজনশীলতা বিকাশে বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা সর্বদা সচেষ্ট ও অঙ্গীকারবদ্ধ। গতানুগতিক পাঠদানের পাশাপাশি জীবনমুখী শিক্ষা, সহশিক্ষাকার্যক্রম ও বিভিন্ন ক্লাব কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য শিক্ষার্থীদের উৎসাহ প্রদানেও উক্ত প্রতিষ্ঠান বদ্ধপরিকর। ভাষা আন্দোলন, মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধ ও দেশপ্রেম চেতনায় উজ্জীবিত হয়ে শিক্ষার্থীরা উদ্ভাসিত করবে দেশ, জাতি ও পৃথিবীকে।

এ প্রতিষ্ঠানের গুণী শিক্ষকমন্ডলী অত্যন্ত নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষার পাশাপাশি মানবীয় গুণাবলি অর্জনের ক্ষেত্রে বিশেষ ভূমিকা পালন করে যাচ্ছেন। এ প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষার্থীরা শুধু লেখাপড়ায় নয়, সকল প্রকার সহশিক্ষা কার্যক্রমে আরও সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ করে প্রতিষ্ঠানের সুনাম অক্ষুন্ন রাখবে, এটাই আমার প্রত্যাশা। মাননীয় বিমান বাহিনী প্রধানের প্রত্যক্ষ তত্ত্বাবধানে এ প্রতিষ্ঠানে যে উন্নয়ন সূচিত হয়েছে, সে ধারা অব্যাহত থাকবে এবং তা উত্তরোত্তর বৃদ্ধি পাবে বলে আমি বিশ্বাস করি। এজন্য ছাত্র-ছাত্রী, শিক্ষক ও অভিভাবকদের সহযোগিতা চাই, চাই একটি সুন্দর পরিবেশ।

বিভিন্ন পাবলিক পরীক্ষার ফলাফল বিচারে বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা’র সাফল্যের মাত্রা উত্তরোত্তর বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। বর্তমানে এ প্রতিষ্ঠানে স্কুল পর্যায়ে দুটি শিফট প্রভাতি ও দিবা শাখা চালু রয়েছে। কলেজের শৃঙ্খলার মানোন্নয়ের জন্য একজন উপাধ্যক্ষ (প্রশাসন) এবং একজন কলেজ অ্যাডজুটেন্ট রয়েছেন। কলেজ চলাকালীন শিক্ষার্থীদের শৃঙ্খলা তত্ত্বাবধানে রয়েছেন দুজন প্রভোস্ট। এছাড়া আধুনিক সুযোগ-সুবিধা সম্পন্ন সুসজ্জিত অভিভাবক অপেক্ষাগার, প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসাকেন্দ্র, মাল্টিমিডিয়া ক্লাস, ল্যাব, ক্যান্টিন, কলেজের ঐতিহ্য সূর্যঘড়ি ও শহিদ মিনার রয়েছে। এ প্রতিষ্ঠানে ১২তলা বিশিষ্ট দৃষ্টিনন্দন কলেজ বিল্ডিং নির্মাণাধীন। এছাড়া কলেজের সৌন্দর্যবর্ধন ও অবকাঠামোগত উন্নয়নের কাজ চলমান রয়েছে। অভিভাবক ও কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ সেবা প্রদানের জন্য রয়েছে একটি হেল্প ডেস্ক। শিক্ষার্থীদের সুলভমূল্যে পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন ও মানসম্মত খাবার নিশ্চিত করার লক্ষ্যে বিমান বাহিনী ঘাঁটি বাশারের তত্ত্বাবধানে ঈগল্স ডিলাইট নামে একটি ক্যান্টিনসহ আরো দুটি ক্যান্টিন রয়েছে। সর্বোপরি আধুনিক তথ্য প্রযুক্তির যুগে এ ওয়েবসাইটটি সকল শিক্ষক, অভিভাবক ও শিক্ষার্থীকে কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষের সকল তথ্য প্রদানে সহযোগিতা করবে বলে আমি বিশ্বাস করি।
